After receiving your enquiry, we’ll ask a few questions and arrange a time to come to your home. We take the time to discuss your aspirations and budget and share estimated costs and timeframes with you.

Quote construction

Once you’ve decided on an option and we’ve confirmed material costs, we’ll send you a formal quote via email. We’ll order the materials and confirm an installation date after receiving your deposit.

Nailing the job

At the agreed time (which we’ll confirm with you the day before), our friendly team will arrive, set up drop sheets to protect your home, do the work, and clean up thoroughly after ourselves. On the day of completion, we’ll run through the job to make sure you’re totally satisfied.

Post-production

You are more than welcome to reach out anytime if you have concerns about the job or need additional work on your home.

Richard Edwards, owner, and operator of Sunny Coast Cabinets and Shutters has been in the construction game for over 30 years. He loves working for himself and ran his own carpentry and cabinet-making business in the United Kingdom for 16 years.

After following the pommie tradition of migrating to Australia 16 years ago, he subcontracted for large businesses for many years, installing new kitchens and doing home renovations. Discovering that the Sunshine Coast was Australia’s dream destination, Richard and his family moved here 11 years ago and haven’t looked back.

He started his Sunshine Coast business to deliver on his values of doing the job right every time, with competitive pricing and personal, friendly, reliable service. He loves seeing the ‘wow factor’ of a renovation and gets a sense of pride from delivering amazing transformations and ensuring his customers are happy.
